Ron Wang, DMD
Meet Dr. Wang, Prosthodontist In Lansdale

I am a prosthodontist dedicated to restoring smiles and improving oral health through advanced, comprehensive dental care. Originally from South Africa, I moved to the United States to pursue my education, earning my undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Rochester, where I studied Public Health and Health Sciences. This early training shaped my patient-centered approach and my focus on whole-person care.
I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where I trained under leading clinicians and developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dentistry. Following dental school, I completed a General Practice Residency at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, where I treated medically complex patients and gained experience managing advanced restorative and surgical cases.
After residency, I worked in private practice as a general dentist and spent time in the dental industry as a medical science liaison and clinical educator. This combination of clinical and industry experience gave me a deeper understanding of emerging technologies and how to
thoughtfully integrate them into patient care.
Driven to provide the highest level of restorative and rehabilitative treatment, I pursued specialty training in prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx. During this intensive three-year residency, I focused on complex care, including full-mouth rehabilitation,
implant dentistry, and maxillofacial prosthetics. Prosthodontics is a highly specialized field, representing only a small percentage of dentists in the United States, and my training allows me to manage some of the most challenging restorative cases with precision and predictability.
My clinical philosophy centers on combining technical excellence with a thoughtful, individualized approach. I believe that successful outcomes require not only advanced skills and technology, but also careful listening, clear communication, and a deep understanding of each patient’s goals. Whether restoring function, improving aesthetics, or rebuilding confidence, I strive to deliver care that is both meticulous and compassionate.
I remain committed to staying at the forefront of prosthodontic research, technology, and clinical innovation through active membership and participation in several leading professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists, American Prosthodontic
Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Allison, and our two sons, Oliver and Robert. I value time outdoors, reading, traveling, and exploring new culinary experiences. I look forward to welcoming you to our practice and helping you achieve a healthy, functional, and
confident smile.
